The East Hampton Village Ambulance Association was founded by the Village of East Hampton in 1975. We presently have 44 members, including, 3 EMT-CCs, 23 EMT-Bs, 26 Drivers, and 2 Attendant. We’ve responded to over 2600 calls in the past two years. The East Hampton

Village Ambulance Association is the busiest ambulance squad on the South Fork of Long Island, New York. We utilize 9 on-call (not in-house), squads at night and Day squads. We also utilize paid per-diem ALS providers on duty 7 days a week, 24 Hours, and 365 days a year to assist with Advanced Life Support calls in the district.

We presently operate 2 New York State ALS Certified Horton Type III Ambulances, 1 New York State ALS Certified PL Custom Type III Ambulance, 1 per-diem First Responder (80 unit) and 1 BLS equipped first responder as well as a Mass Casualty Trailer that carries supplies for a large-scale medical event
